I was doing some spring cleaning around my domain and the following sites were closed:
~ All The King's Men, my shrine to Tsukiyomi Ikuto from Shugo Chara!
~ Misery Business, my shrine/fanlisting to Meroko Yui from Full Moon wo Sagashite
~ Taiyou no Namida, my mini-shrine/fanlisting to Tsunade from Naruto
I sent in the closed forms for the second two because I'm kind of sick of dealing with adoptions and stuff. So right now I only own four fanlistings anymore: Ran, Lambo, Chrissy (reflera.org), and Rasler (still pending adoption).
I will probably never give up Ran, but Lambo is still open for anyone dedicated who would like him. I'm just not feeling Katekyo Hitman REBORN! these days. I still like the series, but it's not an obsession like it was once upon a time.
My network has been sort of stagnating, in my opinion. It's gotten too large and certain sites have been neglected. I'm the type that moves fandoms a lot, but I feel like a shrine should be able to stand alone even if I no longer have interest in the series. Many of the shrines I have up right now are not really up to my own personal standards anymore, so I'm in the process of fixing them up. Those that I no longer even have the will to revamp will be closed, just like the three today. Above anything else, I feel that a shrine that I make has to satisfy me before I can even think of letting it be open to the public.
A heads up -- I will probably be closing my Judith shrine or maybe adopting it out if someone else wants it. I know this might be disappointing to some of you, but to be completely honest, my brother and I sold the game back to GameStop already. I just completely lost interest in it. I feel insulted when I read people praising it as the "best Tales game in the series". It's not.
I think that's probably the only major closure, though. I will probably be closing one or two of my Prince of Tennis shrines if I can't re-vamp them (the new series gives me more material to work with so hopefully my interest doesn't wane) but there will also be another one opening that I've been working on for almost a year now, so I'm not sure if that's really a plus or a minus.
At the moment, I don't really have the will to seriously work on any projects since finishing Luke took so much energy. That's just for the moment, though, who knows how I'll feel tomorrow. Based on how I feel right now, you probably shouldn't expect any new sites until May, but I get random bursts of energy at the stupidest times, so we'll just have to see how it goes.
Thanks for all of your support and encouragement over the years. ♥
04/02/09 EDIT: Bloomveil, my Judith (Tales of Vesperia) shrine, has officially been adopted out to Ivy! I've given her my old files, but she has free reign over what she wants to do with it. Look forward to it showing up on her network soon. ♥

Date: 2009-04-02 07:16 pm (UTC)Umm, it looks like it! I at least would have had Naoto, but I gave up on that, sooooo. Right now none of my immediate projects are girls, I think. I guess I'm fated to run a male harem network, after all. RIMUDO IS STILL HALF GIRL, THOUGH!
